One of the few good things about modern times: If you die horribly on television, you will not have died in vain. You will have entertained us. ~ Kurt Vonnegut

....ON HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER

I should be watching this show.
''It's this sort of immature, inconsiderate jackassery that makes me feel like I'm living in the Real World house. And not the early years, when they all had jobs and social consciences. I'm talking about Hawaii and after.'
~ 'MARSHALL (JASON SEGEL), TO TED (JOSH RADNOR), WHO HE THOUGHT HAD NEGLECTED TO PUT THE LID ON THE PEANUT BUTTER.

Pencils down

You have their word when it comes to the WGA strike.
So, just to be absolutely clear: In the event of a strike, we, the following showrunners, will do no writing and no story breaking — nor will any be asked of our writing staffs — until we get a deal

Bummer....but cool. Pretty much all the great shows. And does the guy from Brothers&Sisters ever sleep?

Never see the one that kills you...

From a TV Guide poster named Memorin (or was it Bababooey323):
Just received this email - facts still need to be checked.
"Here is the thing… in the last scene we are seeing through Tony's eyes. Remember when he was speaking with Bobby...basically saying that you don't see it happening?
So here is what I found out. The guy at the bar is in the credits as Nikki Leotardo. The same actor played him in the first part of season 6 during a brief sit down concerning the future of Vito. Apparently, he is the nephew of Phil. Phil's brother Nikki Senior was killed in 1976 in a car accident. Absolutely Genius!
So the point would have been that life continues and we may never know the end of the Sopranos.
But if you pay attention to the history, you will find that all the answers lie in the characters in the restaurant. The trucker was the brother of the guy who was robbed and killed by Christopher in Season 2. (the DVD players) The trucker had to identify the body. The boy scouts were in the train store and the guys at the end were the ones who tried to kill Tony and only clipped him in the ear (season 2 or 3). Absolutely incredible!
There were 3 people in the restaurant who had reason to kill Tony and then it just ends. Tony would like it to keep going but just as we have to say goodbye, so does he. No more Tony and I guess we are supposed to be happy that Meadow didn't get clipped as well (she would have been sitting between the shooter and Tony). In retrospect… very well done"

Or was it what Actuary6 wrote:
I am thoroughly convinced that the Sopranos are in witness protection. The "new" place to eat was the meeting spot for the family. I believe the FBI agent whom Tony had been meeting with agreed to put his family in witness protection in exchange for more info. on the terrorists.
With one of his crew members ratting him out to the FBI, he can't really go on with life as usual - he'll be arrested and sent up the river for life. If he wants to stay alive, he has to go into witness protection. Every time the diner's doorbell rang, he kept looking up to make sure that each of his family members got there. When Meadow finally arrived, he was at peace.
If you can see the logic in the above, Tony Soprano will be a "made" man living "in America".
